The PM Vishwakarma Scheme, launched by the Government of India, is a visionary initiative aimed at supporting and empowering traditional artisans and craftspeople across the country. This scheme recognizes the invaluable role of Vishwakarmas—the skilled individuals who use their hands and tools to create, repair, and build.
Vishwakarmas include traditional workers like Carpenters, Masons, Blacksmiths, Tailors, Potteand several others across 18 recognized trades.

Major Benefits
- Free Skill Training with daily stipend
- Tool Kit Incentive up to ₹15,000
- Recognition through PM Vishwakarma Certificate & ID Card
- Collateral-Free Loan in two tranches:
- ₹1 lakh (1st tranche)
- ₹2 lakh (2nd tranche)
- 5% interest rate, subsidized by the government
- Market support and digital empowerment
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be engaged in a family-based traditional skill (one of the 18 trades)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Should not have availed similar government schemes or be in formal employment
How to Apply?

- Register using Aadhaar and mobile number
- Upload required documents (ID, trade proof, etc.)
- Application is verified by local authorities before approval
