Student Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC)

Student Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC)is constituted with the objective of addressing and resolving grievances raised by students and their parents in a fair, transparent, and timely manner.

Objective

To provide a formal mechanism for students and their parents to register complaints and to ensure that each grievance is redressed effectively.

Grievance Registration

A provision has been made available on the official website for students and parents to submit their grievances.

The committee, headed by the Principal, regularly reviews the registered grievances and takes appropriate actions. The outcome or decision of the GRC will be communicated to the complainant promptly.

Types of Grievances Addressed

The GRC addresses grievances related (but not limited) to:

  • Admission made contrary to merit
  • Irregularities in the admission process
  • Withholding or refusal to return original certificates
  • Demand of fees beyond the prescribed limit
  • Breach of reservation policy
  • Alleged discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, minority status, or physical ability
  • Non-payment or delay in payment of scholarships
  • Delay in conduct of examinations or announcement of results
  • Withholding of student facilities or amenities
  • Denial of quality education as promised
  • Non-transparent or unfair evaluation methods
  • Harassment or victimization of students, including sexual harassment
  • Issues related to refund of fees upon withdrawal of admission

Committee Composition

The GRC is headed by the Principal and includes faculty and administrative representatives. The committee ensures impartiality, confidentiality, and accountability in all grievance redressal processes.
